The Chamber’s Board of Directors have decided to cancel our Awards Banquet that was scheduled for October 3rd. We want to help keep our community as safe and healthy as possible during this pandemic. We will be inviting all of the 2020 Award winners to the 2021 Banquet next year. Be watching for how they will still be honored this year!
The Rand Community Center has made a decision to remain closed through September 30th. They want to keep our community as safe and healthy as possible through this pandemic.
The Welcome Center is now OPEN, as of July 6th, 2020.

Thursday – 10 am – 3 pm 3:30 – 6:30 Farmer’s Market
Friday & Saturday – 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday – noon – 4 pm
The school is closed until further notice. And the auditorium is closed for public use.

The Harrison County Fair Board has announced that the fair in 2020 is canceled. Also, the Missouri Valley Chamber of Commerce, in charge of the Harrison County Fair Parade, has announced that the parade is canceled. These decisions were made in conjunction with information from the Harrison County Home & Public Health, Harrison County Emergency Management, and CHI Health. These actions were taken to avoid unnecessary spread of Covid-19, when large groups are in close proximity. Both the Fair and Parade will resume in 2021. It’s time to enjoy some live Music in the Park. Thursday, June 4th at 7:00 PM begins the first of four events during the month, at the Missouri Valley City Park. The first week of entertainment will come from the John Worsham Band. You’ll hear Pop & Country music. Bring a comfy chair, your favorite beverage, a snack, bug spray, your friends and neighbors. There’s plenty of space to maintain the social distance of 6 feet. Music In The Park is sponsored by the following: Valley Lodge #232, CHI Health, Woodhouse Auto, Missouri Valley Insurance, The Hoffman Agency, Sabel Farms, American National Bank, Logan State Bank, Midstates Bank, Washington County Bank, Healthquest Chiropractic, Longview Home, Crossroads of Western Iowa, and Town and Country Sales.
Our banquet will be held October 3, 2020 at the Eagle’s Club in Missouri Valley, 118 S 5th St. The Social hour will be from 5-6 PM, followed by dinner at 6 PM, and awards at 7 PM. There will be silent auction items as well as live auction items, that provide as our largest fund raiser event of the year. Please contact the Chamber office to reserve your seats,(712.642.2553).
