It will soon be time to get your 3 or 4 year old kids registered for Preschool.
We will have about 1200 food boxes and gallons of milk to give to anyone who comes to pick one up. This distribution will be held at the Rand Center parking lot on Wednesday, February 10, from 10 AM until they are gone. They are free to anyone. Included in the box will be produce, dairy, and meat. Please spread the word to families, neighbors, churches, organizations, etc. This is a USDA program to assist our communities during this pandemic time.
The next meeting is planned for Febr. 11th, at 6 Pm, at the Eagle’s Club.
The Missouri Valley Chamber presented it’s $500 scholarship to Evan Gutzmer. He is attending Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and held a 3.97 average this past semester. He is working towards music education as his major. Megan Zimmer, Vice President of the Chamber Board presented the check. Congratulations, Evan!
WOW! Missouri Valley residents out did themselves this year with fantastic light displays at their homes. Congratulations to all of the winners.
Thank you to Lisa Dozier who owns Dozier Day Care. She finds the time in her very busy schedule to collect and organize the addresses of the residents who want to be listed on the Holiday Lights Tour map. The Missouri Valley Chamber also wants to thank the local Verizon store for sponsoring this event for the second year.
