Caboose Park Excitement

        Before …..               And NOW……..WOW!!!

This highlighting of the Caboose Park was an effort of the Park Board to make the park a focal point in Missouri Valley, for those who travel through our community, from the east or west.

Thanks go to Jensen Lawn Solutions who did the installation.

Halloween Parade canceled

A decision was reached to cancel this year’s annual Halloween Parade that was scheduled for October 22nd.  Our community’s health and safety were the first concerns in making the plans for this event, during this pandemic time.  The recent increase in local positive cases demands that social distancing and face mask requirements are adhered to.  We are saddened that the event will not happen this year, and we will miss seeing all the costumed kids.

150th Celebration planning meeting

The next meeting will be on October 15th, from 6-7 PM, at the Commercial building in the Missouri Valley City Park.  Face masks are highly recommended and social distancing will be observed.  Come join the group and offer your ideas!  Plans are still fluid.  See you then.
